How do i unstain baby clothes?
Sometimes the water runs like the colour of rust. I’ve never had a problem with the washing until i put in my daughters baby clothes last week. Now all the white is dirty brown and all the pink is just as bad, i’ve rewashed them and soaked them in napisan, but it did nothing. And i dont want to put them back in washing machine incase it happens again. Most the clothes i wash are black so i wouldnt notice if it happened to them….
If you live in Australia where we have a problem with rust coloured water you can contact your local Water Board, explain the problem to them and they will actually bring you out a remedy to "unstain" the clothes. However, the trick is to keep the clothing wet until you get the cure. The actual products are :- Citric Acid and SodiumDithionite. If your water authority will not do this, try your local chemist/pharmacy. They also should be able to help you.
