First of all, thank you for everything you do. You are so informative, especially for people like me TTC. After watching that video, I broke down. It broke my heart to know that soooo many people use these products on children. When our 3 year old niece was here staying with us during Christmas, we ran out and got so many of the Johnson’s products. I had no idea, but I feel horrible. So, I have been scanning the internet on this issue and found alot of websites, but there is one in particular that I wanted to share with you. It is http://www.kidsafechemicals.org We can sign this declaration and give our voices to the government about how we feel about the chemicals harming children. Also, please watch the video at http://www.ewg.org/kidsafe (KID SAFE CHEMICAL ACT) Also, babies/toddlers wearing nailpolish. It is full of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone. If you know someone who does this–tell them to check out www.piggypaint.com, for chemical free nail polish for kids.
I feel as though you have a very powerful voice. Thousands of people watch your videos. I don’t know of any better way to get the message out. You have a huge platform. Please check out these websites and tell everyone. People listen to you and look up to you. Thank you for your time girl, I know this was a long message to read.

I’m glad u guys have put this information out there. I have always been alergic to Johnson’s products and I never used them on my son when he was a baby which was good cos when a relative used it on him aged 2 he came out in a terrible rash.

Thank you for sharing that ! My daughter has eczema so we are always on the hunt for natural chemical free baby products. ( it seems like nothing ever helps though ) I will have to check out those products and see if they would be ok to use with her skin condition. Thank you !

Ok I just checked my J&J body wash & it doesn’t say anything about Formaldehyde in ingredients. So I’m really concerned…how can you tell?? I’ve tried researching this & it’s so confusing. What products are safe? Is Aveeno safe? I’m about to run out to walmart, but I don’t know what I’m looking for. Thanks for the info!

Oh I agree some germs are need, but to an extent just like everything else you consume/use.

and at some point your kids will come into contact with these things and if they have never been exposed it could actually make them sicker. Especially at school where the parents can no longer micro manage their kids lives and what they are around. I’m not trying to offend I’m just curious what your opinion is on it.

I am all for organic and natural products but at the same time I have heard if you are overly cautious with your children you can actually do them more harm than good because all these toxins you speak of are all over the enviorment

Thank you so much for doing this video. I bought the brand Method about 6 months ago, and notice it was not tearfree, and it said to not get in in their eyes. Things might have changed since then, but you might want to check. Another thing to look out for in kids shampoo is Lye (spelling?), it’s a chemical foound in alot of shampoo, but it’s not the bets for kids!

Oh, good, I am so glad you called… but whats strange is that when we were at mine they told us a much different story. They said that their current stock was all bad and the companies were replacing them with the new/safe models. I think I am going to call and talk to the mgr. at mine because their story needs some straightening out! Maybe there is a difference between the ones sent to the NV/TX stores? but still… it doesn’t add up. Hmmm…. I will let you know my results…
