Anyone know a good quality baby stroller for commuters always on the go?

As a New Yorker I travel by subway on a regular basis and need a practical, trendy, non expensive stroller.$200 or a little more is the max.

Maclaren strollers are great for that. I went to New York City for about 2 weeks over the summer and borrowed a Maclaren from a friend and it was fantastic! It has the great features of a full size stroller (underside basket, sun shade), but it’s light and folds easily to fit into the trunk of a cab or on the subway. The seat is removable and can be washed and it has parking brakes. Once you get the hang of how to fold it you can fold it easily with one hand.
The only complaint that I had was that it didn’t lay down. So when my little one fell asleep she would just fall forward and get all slumped.
Other then that though, it was great.

The more expensive strollers do have multiple seat positions, but we just had a basic model. They range in price from about $100 (for the most basic) to over $300 (for all the bells and whistles). I think though, that if you look for one that is just a basic stroller that has an adjustable seat that it shouldn’t cost more then $150 or $200

We paid about $200 for our stroller and it included an infant car seat, but I don’t recommend that. An infant car seat is a waste, ours grew out of hers in six months and we had to get a larger convertible seat anyway. We would have been better off buying a better stroller and just going straight to the convertible car seat.
