What should happen to a father, who took his newborn baby from the US to Japan?
What should happen to a father, who took his newborn baby from the US to Japan his mothers native country and refuses to return her to New York. Because the US born father and US born daughter have Japanese passports, they can never be deported or extradited to the USA. This is legal under Japanese law, but a crime under New York law. Japan has never send back a duel US/Japanese national child to the USA ever in a custody dispute. The mother is not welcome in Japan and will be deported back to the USA is she enters Japan.
I’m confused. If Japan is the mother’s native country, why would she be deported from there? There’s something you’re not telling us? And how did the father get a Japanese passport if he’s US born? Very fishy if you ask me…
